The aim is to establish a program for cooperation in areas of mutual Nordic-Russian interests defined in priorities jointly given by the Nordic side and Russian authorities. The mutual interests should be realized through joint funding and programme management. In order to prepare for the planned programme, the Nordic council of Ministers will fund preparatory actions in 2008.
