Arctic Design –Seminar
What is Arctic Design? Why it is a relevant topic now and in the future? The international speakers are invited to study the theme from different viewpoints from architecture to services. Special interest is paid to sustainable design and co-operation between universities and companies.

Rovaniemi Design Week
Rovaniemi Design Week is the northernmost Design Week in the world. In 2012, the Week will be held for the fourth time and the theme of the week is Light & Darkness. Week will be held on 17th -26th Feb 2012, and it offers exhibitions, events, networking, 24h-design competition, seminars, snow design and much more.

Arctic Art & Design Summer School
The first international Arctic Art & Design Summer School is an exploration to user centered art and design in the light of the Midnight Sun! The aim of the summer school is to study the different methods of involving the users and audiences to art and design projects from service design to applied arts. The lectures and workshops by the leading researchers, artists and designers build up the base for the field studies. The real life cases located in the Finnish Lapland provide a unique possibility to try out the theories in practice.
