The UArand our information stand proved to be very popular (not just for the chocolates), with many participants stopping by to discuss and to learn more about the network, its program offerings, and member institutions. The Young Scientists Forum produced many engaging debates and student presentations. UArctic will continue to work with APECS and the event organizers to promote this kind of activity.
The UArctic mini-seminar, "“Structural changes in higher education across the Circumpolar North" attracted a strong group of higher education institution leaders from across the Arctic. The discussions helped presidents and rectors from different parts of the North understand many of the trends and changes occurring elsewhere in the region.
The University of the Arctic will be returning soon to Tromso for a meeting of the Board of Governors in March 2011.
UArctic wraps up at Arctic Frontiers

Many thanks to all the organizers and participants of the Arctic Frontiers conference in Tromso for a very successful event. The University of the Arctic was well represented in both the policy and science sections of the conference, as well as the supporting side events.
