University of Lapland guests at Murmansk State Humanitites University

On 21.09.2011 MSHU received an official delegation from the University of Lapland (Rovaniemi, Finland) represented by Mauri Ylä-Kotola, rector, and Outi Snellman, head of International Office, who is simultaneously taking the position of the vice-president of the University of the Arctic, which is a network of universities, colleges and other organizations working in the sphere of higher education and scientific research in the North.
The program of the visit was very tight. From 11.00 till 12.00 there were negotiations with the administration of our university: Andrey Sergeev, rector, and Pavel Fedorov, deputy rector for science and research. Inna Ryzhkova, head of the Center for Academic Mobility, International Projects and Programs, and Mikhail Smirnyakov, head of International Office, were also present at the negotiations. As a result our universities signed the cooperation agreement.
