Per Møller, the administrative lead of the BNS program, together with Peter Haugseth, the lecturer of the program, visited North-Eastern Federal University, Siberia, on March 14-15, 2012. The delegation from Finnmark University College (Alta, Norway) was given a warm welcome at the University. On Wednesday they had a meeting with Rector Evgenia Mikhailova and International Office concerning BNS program. Next day Per Møller and Peter Haugseth had a meeting with the BNS students. "It was a great event for all of us to meet students from NEFU", said Per Moeller. He also gave a short lecture about intercultural communication.
During their visit representatives of Finnmark University College arranged a video conference with students from Mirnyi Polytechnical Insitute (NEFU branch in Mirnyi, Siberia) to give them full information about BNS program.
As a final part of visit there was a workshop on the technologies of distance learning where Per Møller and Peter Haugseth, as well as Kathleen Osgood, Professor at the University of Vermont, told about their methods of working with students from all over the world.
