The journalist will present ideas from his historical book "The Forgotten history: the fate of Swedes and adventures in the east during thousand years" (Den glömda historien: om svenska öden och äventyr i öster under tusen år) focusing on relations of Swedes with its eastern neighbours - Finland, the Baltic states and especially Russia.
The event is organised by the Consulate General of Sweden in St. Petersburg in cooperation with the Information Office of the Nordic Council of Ministers in St. Petersburg as the part of the Studia Nordica-series of public lectures by Nordic speakers focusing on various cooperation issues in the Baltic Sea Region.
