UArctic President speaks at Swedish Parliament

On April 10, UArctic April 10 President Lars Kullerud made a public appearance in
the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm. He was invited to speak to the
Organization of Former Parliamentarians at its annual meeting about what
is happening in the Arctic. He was introduced to the Organization by
vice chair Rune Rydén,who is also chair of Membership and Nominations
Committee of UArctic University. The speech of Lars Kullerud was very
well received by the distinguished audience of more than 200 people and
he received many questions from former party leaders, ministers and
ambassadors etc., all with great knowledge in international affairs.
Interest in Arctic issues in Sweden have risen greatly because of the
Swedish Chairmanship in Arctic Council.
