The 9th Arctic Frontiers science section Climate and Energy will address three main themes:
I. Arctic climate change – global implications,
II. Ecological winners and losers in future Arctic marine ecosystems
III. The Arctic's role in the global energy supply and security.
This call for papers addresses only the scientific section from 21 January to 23 January 2015.
The Scientific Program Committees invites to submit one or more abstracts (for oral or poster presentation) to any of the three parts, in accordance with the instructions provided.
All abstracts will be reviewed by members of the three scientific committees for rating of abstract quality and presentation content.
The Call for Papers closes on 22 September 2014.

The 9th Arctic Frontiers conference will be held in Tromsø, Norway, with the title: Climate and Energy, from Sunday 18 January to Friday 23 January 2015. The Arctic Frontiers conference is a central arena for discussions of Arctic issues. The conference brings together representatives from science, politics, and civil society to share perspectives on how upcoming challenges in the Arctic may be addressed to ensure sustainable development.
