Memorial University’s President Gary Kachanoski, who currently serves as a member of UArctic’s Board of Governors and UArctic’s President Lars Kullerud signed Memorandums of Understanding for renewed commitment and collaboration in Arctic leadership and UArctic science and research analytics.
The MOU signing re-appointed Memorial University’s Sheila Downer to UArctic leadership team as Vice President Finance, Development and Engagement for the period of 2019-2021. Along with Igor Osipov, Chair UArctic Research Analytics Institute, President Kachanoski also signed a MOU as a founding member of the Research Analytics Institute, a collaboration of institutions within the Arctic to monitor Arctic research efforts and perform analytical research projects.
