Pre-event: "Arctic Challenges: The Importance of Trans-Arctic Collaboration"
This open seminar at the University of Iceland on October 16 at 13:00-17:00 gathers leading academics and experts for an engaging dialogue on Arctic challenges, with key sessions on Arctic governance, science diplomacy, and maritime safety.
In the face of geopolitical tensions and the growing impacts of climate change, how can we foster a more inclusive and cooperative scientific collaboration in the Arctic? What are the main challenges that emerge as melting ice opens new sea routes and resource opportunities, and how can international frameworks be strengthened to effectively manage these transformations?

We encourage our members, colleagues, partners, friends, and anyone interested in UArctic to stop by for a chat and for print materials, including the latest issue of our Shared Voices magazine.
