This timely publication aims to explore the expanding influence of BRICS+ countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and others) in the Arctic region. The book will examine this growing presence through political, economic, environmental, and strategic perspectives, offering a comprehensive analysis of how these emerging powers are reshaping Arctic dynamics.

Contributors are invited to address key themes including geopolitical strategies, economic investments, impacts on indigenous and local communities, governance and international law frameworks, security and military presence, and specific Arctic engagement strategies of BRICS+ nations. We particularly welcome country-specific chapters focusing on the Arctic policies and activities of individual BRICS+ countries.
